The scheme “Large investment projects "Contratti di Sviluppo” aims at strengthening the national productive system by attracting new investments and by favouring large investment projects, especially in less developed areas in southern Italy. It also supports investment projects in different economic sectors (industry, tourism, commerce) addressing various policy objectives of relevant public interest (as innovation, infrastructural and territorial development, environmental protection) in order to foster growth and employment in line with a national industrial innovation development plan (Piano Industria 4.0).
