The SA.38348 is a federal State aid scheme for NGA deployment encompassing a multitude of different aid instruments at municipal level. These measures are aligned with the Federal Broadband Strategy and coordinated by the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure. The purpose of the State Aid is to promote the development of NGA broadband networks with fibre or equivalent backhaul and access networks close enough to the subscribers in order to provide reliable high speed internet services.
