Special Economic Zones (SEZ)

Abstract

The Special Economic Zones (SEZs) are the largest regional aid instrument in Poland. The scheme is in place since 1994 and was amended in 2014. Its main objective is to accelerate the economic development of part of the national territory, resulting indirectly from the performance of enterprises in the SEZ.
